Overview
A dark, editorial website for a Tirana barbershop — with a full service menu and its own online booking flow.
Adi’s Barber Shop needed more than a page with a phone number. The goal was a website that feels like the chair itself: calm, precise, a little cinematic — and that lets clients choose a service and book without a call.
We designed a deep navy and warm-gold identity around a classic serif, built a clear service menu with prices in lekë, and connected every service directly to a step-by-step booking flow. The whole site works in Albanian and English.
The challenge
The challenge
Appointments were arranged by phone and message, which meant interruptions during cuts and no simple overview of the day. The shop also needed an online presence that matched the quality of the experience in the chair.
Objectives
- 01Let clients pick a service and book a time without calling
- 02Make double bookings impossible
- 03Give the shop a simple daily view of its bookings
- 04Present the shop and its prices clearly in Albanian and English
Strategy & approach.
- 01 — Strategy & approach
We treated the website and the booking system as one product: every service on the menu is a doorway into booking, and the booking flow carries the same calm, editorial tone as the rest of the site.
- 02 — Design
A deep navy and warm-gold palette, a classic serif for headings and cinematic photography set the mood. The service menu was structured like a printed price list, grouped into hair, shave and beard, so prices are easy to compare.
- 03 — Technical implementation
Built with Next.js and TypeScript on Vercel, with Supabase for bookings. A database-level constraint rejects a second booking for the same slot, and a private admin panel lets the shop search, complete or cancel bookings by day.

What we built
What we built.
- 01
Online booking flow
Four clear steps — service, date & time, details, confirmation — with a running summary of the appointment and price.
- 02
Book straight from the menu
Every service on the price list opens the booking flow with that service already selected.
- 03
No double bookings
The database itself refuses a second booking for the same slot, so two clients can never take the same chair.
- 04
Private admin panel
The shop can see bookings by day, search them, and mark them completed, cancelled or restored.
- 05
Albanian & English
One switch translates the entire site, from the hero to the booking steps.
- 06
Live opening status
The hero shows whether the shop is open right now and when it closes today.
On mobile
